Opportunity Overview: Zinn Insurance is looking for a New Business Case Manager to join their growing team in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate for this role will be organized, personable, optimistic, enthusiastic, loyal, and fun. Monique Zinn, the CEO, has been an experienced executive and leader in the insurance industry for 20 years and started the agency in 2004.

If you have solid attention to detail, can multitask, manage a team, and keep a smile, this might be the perfect opportunity for you!

Who You Are: An ideal candidate wants to work in a fast-paced environment and is willing to take the initiative when necessary. Experience in the insurance industry is not required; only a high-level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, excellent communication skills, and an ability to deliver quality results, meet deadlines, provide superior client care, and manage a team. A college degree is not required.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with new business clients and sales team
  • Processing carrier applications
  • Obtaining quotes from carriers.
  • Install clients in our Benefits Administration & HR systems
  • Answering phones, inputting business lines in databases.
  • Updating reports where needed
  • Reaching out to the clients for missing information via phone and email.
  • Works directly with our Group Case Managers and Leadership Team
  • Prioritize emails and various projects
  • Expected to handle highly sensitive and confidential financial, legal, personnel, and institutional information while exercising professionalism and discretion
  • Coordinate work with other staff as needed; plays a vital role in the coordination of projects
  • Other additional and alternative duties as assigned from time to time, including supporting other departments or Executives as needed

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years in management/ leadership
  • Understands a sales pipeline
  • Desire to grow
  • Time Management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organized, multi-tasker with high standards for excellence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team and goal-oriented
  • Strong work ethic and resourcefulness
  • Advanced understanding of software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Three to five years’ prior experience in supporting Executive level management.
