You’re the Melanie Griffith (Tess McGill) in the movie Working Girl (imagine this being non-gender specific – you could be Tom). Maybe you’re currently stuck in a role as an office administrator, executive assistant, A/R in accounting, or an HR clerical role.

We’re Zinn Insurance, one of the fastest growing insurance companies in the Texas area, specializing in providing insurance plans for local and nationwide businesses. We’re seeking a top-notch Group Case Administrator to serve as the primary point of contact for our clients to ensure that documentation is accurate. We’re not seeking any particular background – we’ll train you! We do want a candidate that is familiar with working with the type of work and details that come with an office role, such as office administration, billing, or HR issues. An ideal candidate wants to work in a fast-paced environment and is willing to take the initiative when necessary. Three to five years of experience working at a high level with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with payroll systems such as Sage or QuickBooks is a plus. Excellent communication skills with an ability to deliver quality results, meet deadlines and provide superior client care. The job is part detective, part customer success, and part administrative data entry, verifying information, using spreadsheets and our various software systems.

You’ll work with our Group Case Specialists to:

  • Successfully move our clients through our group pipeline
  • Obtain company census information, current benefits information, and any other required data to generate a proposal
  • Send proposal requests to insurance carriers upon request
  • Analyze quotes from the carriers for errors and missing data
  • Build out groups in our benefits administration system Employee Navigator
  • Create and distribute enrollment packets
  • Provide regular updates to the management team on group progress
  • Additional tasks may be assigned related to group business

Qualifications:

  • Coachable
  • High School Degree (required), College Education (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • Organized, multi-tasker with high standards for excellence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team and goal-oriented
  • Strong work ethic and resourcefulness
  • Advanced understanding of software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
